That's it, Allen, Ignore the Science! - Science is just a pesky bother that gets in the way of having fun.

I came up with some kind of sciency explanation for the phone working (that Avalon exists in the same space and time as the real world, but in another dimension, and therefore radio frequencies are still accessible), but for now let's just say that it's magic. 'Cause that's easier to stomach.

The Pizza logo wasn't meant to look anything like a certain popular pizza company - it just sort of happened. At first I was going to have fun with it, make a bad pun for the pizzeria's name (like Pizza Your Mind or Leaning Tower or something), but then I thought I'd make one that looked kind of like an existing (but here unnamed) shop chain. It then turned out that once it was placed in the background of the comic, the features that distinguish it from the real chain are obscured by the "waitress" (or whatever you call pizza restaurant workers). So please, just take my word that this isn't trademark enfringement. You know how I worry about being sued for using someone else's intellectual property.

Which is a nice segue into talking about the Totally Kotor book, which is 100% unofficial, and completely unrelated to any actual Lucasarts copyrighted material except for in cases of parody and review. Um...it's almost finished. I'm in the process of drawing backgrounds for the first half of Series III (the Kotor II strips), and then I'll be pretty much finished. If there's any special extras you'd like included, let me know either here or at arandomsheep@gmail.com, but bear in mind that the book's going to be pretty hefty with just the 500~ strips.

I also have two options for printing - one is Ka-Blam or another similar Print on Demand service, which means you'll get the book about a month after you place the order, but you can order it sooner. Option two is waiting until I get to Hong Kong where I can print the book cheaper, and it'll be better condition. This means you'll have to wait until August at the earliest, and there will be an extended shipping period (probably also similar to a month), and the number of books will be extremely limited.

So, basically, do you want convenience and a guarantee of getting a copy, or do you want something of slightly better quality?

  Book Ordering

I would honestly be ok with a slightly lower quality book as long as at the end of the day I can get one. I can wait as long as it takes.

I think Runt should get a top hat. More classy that way, and stuff.

Winston is great.

And I vote for quality over convenience.

HA! Doctor Who! But they need that time-space superphone to call the Doctor.

How did I get 2 Dr Who references in one day?

This is after I watched one of the Ecelston eps a couple of hours ago.
