It's finally arrived! - I've been hassling Comixpress for months. I put the order for my proof of Totally Kotor in July, and it somehow slipped through the cracks. They've been ignoring my emails for months, but I finally got hold of them and complained until they sent it.

This means that I can now offer you guys the link for ordering your own copy...but should I?

The thing is, the quality is not as good as I'd have liked. The cover is a bit thin and the spine's not very strong. Plus each copy will take between one and three months to be sent to you, and that's a big delay. I mean, it's good, it's nice in a lot of ways...but it's not perfect.

Plus I've spotted a couple of typos and a comic that's in the wrong order. Not sure how I didn't notice it sooner.

Anyway, I could start looking for a new printer. Go right back to square one. But that would take months longer...maybe it's better just to let you guys have it. And I really don't have more time to spend on this book.

So the question is...what do you want? An imperfect book now, or a (much) longer wait?

The book is set at US$25 plus shipping and handling at the moment, I don't know if that's a bit steep, should I take the cover price down? I don't want you guys getting ripped off.

Anyway, I can make the book purchasable at the click of a mouse, all I need is approval from you guys.

In the meantime, here's some pictures of the book. As you can see, all the old strips right back to the beginning have been digitally remastered (it wouldn't be a Star Wars parody if I didn't digitally remaster something!) but I've kept all the original strips' storyline and script. There are two or three comics you'll never have seen before, deleted scenes that got lost in the shuffle, and a one-page introduction by Runt and Candy. Otherwise though, this is just 460+ strips presented as-is without commentary: The book would have been twice the size if I'd written something for every single one.

Did you have to pay royalties at all? It does consist entirely of spoofs, so I have to wonder...

Also, if something's worth doing, it's worth doing right. I say you should go for gold.

Yay! That's so awesome that the book is finally done! I would be willing to take it as it is. I'm sure it is still super awesome.

personally, I'd rather have a good quality book later on than a bad one now. Totally KOTOR is the type of thing I'd read every couple of years, and even after all the time it's gone on I still really enjoy reading it, and I don't see why that'd stop, meaning it's going to be used a lot.

Have you considered looking at other Webcomic makers and seeing who prints their books?
